What's going on

We've been repairing laptop motherboards at chip level since before it was common practice in Malaysia. Where many repair shops simply swap the entire board (or recommend replacing the laptop), we trace the fault to the individual failed component — a blown capacitor, a failed power IC, a damaged charging circuit — and repair it directly. This approach is usually significantly cheaper than a full board replacement, and often the only option once a board is no longer sold by the manufacturer.
